HOCHTIEF Consult Marine Works
HOCHTIEF Consult's Marine Works competence center is the biggest engineering
office for hydraulic engineering in the German-speaking world. The center
employs about 40 engineers and structural designers who make available their
expertise and experience from numerous marine construction projects to all our
partners, i.e. customers, users, and contractors. Our experts have accumulated
decades of experience in and around the North Sea and Baltic Sea by
participating in practically all major harbor and hydraulic engineering projects
in the region. This expertise is supplemented by valuable know-how from major
international projects. The center's most recent reference projects include a
deepwater port in Ngqura, South Africa, and a container terminal in Bremerhaven,
which features the world's longest continuous quay wall.
