HOCHTIEF Construction has been operating a business unit in Austria since 2005. Following the acquisition of several major projects, HOCHTIEF Construction Austria was established in 2007 as an independent but wholly owned subsidiary of HOCHTIEF Construction AG.

Since 2008, HOCHTIEF Construction Austria has served within HOCHTIEF Construction AG as the competence center for earthworks and road construction, offering its know-how both at home and abroad – and to the Group as well.
