HOCHTIEF Construction is active on the fast growing Russian construction market via its business unit in Moscow. The unit in Russia mostly realizes projects in the Moscow and St. Petersburg conurbations. It focuses on the management of complex projects such as airports, and on the segments of commercial properties, upmarket residential construction and sports facilities.

For airport company MASH, HOCHTIEF Russia built Terminal 1 at Sheremetyevo International Airport near the capital Moscow in 2006. The terminal covers a floor area of 40,000 square meters.
