Thor

The HOCHTIEF jack-up platform Thor is one of the biggest platforms for installing wind energy facilities
offshore. It can set up wind energy facilities of the latest generation. The fixed 500-ton crane has been
designed for safe and efficient work from the sea.

Thor is being given its legs. These are 82 meters long and enable set-up in water depths of up to 50 meters.
Each weighs 550 tons. The jack-up platform, on which a 500-ton crane has been installed, also offers
accommodation for 48 people.
Jack-up platform Odin

The HOCHTIEF jack-up platform Odin at the transformer station for the alpha ventus wind farm, 45 kilometers off
the island of Borkum. For Germany's first offshore wind farm, Odin anchored the entire multi-element structure in
the sea bed at a water depth of more than 30 meters.

The jack-up platform Odin was also used for installing six of the twelve wind energy facilities for the alpha ventus
wind farm. Since its conversion in 2009, Odin features a 300-ton crane and offers accommodation units for 40 people.
