Technical Services (TES)
Our in-house service provider Technical Services (TES) supports us and other
departments and construction sites of HOCHTIEF Construction in preparing
preliminary studies, preparing prequalifications, processing bids, preparing
projects, supporting construction works and in change order management.
TES provides the following services:
Work preparation / Time-scheduling
Coordination of projects, site logistics, planning of construction sequences and
construction time-schedules, preparation of time chainage charts, preparation of
quantity/time charts, development of construction concepts and construction
methods, planning of auxiliary construction measures, planning of site
installations
Plant/equipment and procedural technology
Planning of site installations, equipment concepts and design of large-scale
installations, procurement of large equipment, planning of temporary and
permanent installations, support for the construction site with mobilization,
execution and demobilization
Surveying and CAD
All surveying tasks in the fields of building, industrial and infrastructure
construction as well as special surveying tasks such as tunnel surveying for
mined tunneling projects, preliminary planning and planning, survey-oriented
processing and support on the spot, quantity calculations, consultancy and
support, special tasks such as checking surveying equipment and lasers, use of
geo information systems (GIS), CAD and 3D CAD planning
Environmental protection / Materials management
Consultancy on environmental protection, materials management, asbestos repair,
reconversion of oil platforms, provision of international standards and
regulations, preparation of quality management plans for construction execution
Estimating
Preparation of bid estimates (direct/indirect costs, risk analysis, escalation,
top sheet), preparation of payment schedules and cash flows, appraisal of bid
estimates, preparation of contract estimates (order estimate), support for
establishing cost control on the spot
