For the Ukrainian premier league football club FC Dnipro, HOCHTIEF Construction is building a new modern stadium in Dnipropetrovsk, one of the biggest cities in Ukraine. The design of the EUR 40 million project meets the latest FIFA and UEFA requirements. The playing field will feature a heating system as well as drainage and irrigation systems. From September 2008 onwards, some 31,000 football fans can cheer on their team from covered seats. We also provide 550 business seats and VIP lounges with almost 300 seats. The five-level main building comprises a generously dimensioned restaurant for nearly 600 guests, two banquet halls and the corresponding kitchen facilities.

After having established its partnership-based contract model PreFair successfully in the German market, HOCHTIEF Construction now also offers the model abroad. In the case of the FC Dnipro, HOCHTIEF Construction rendered convincing performance in the preconstruction phase: Together with the architect, we integrated the client's wishes into the design, tailoring it to the previously defined construction budget. In addition, our experts advised the football club on the space and usage concept and thus optimized both functionality and quality of the stadium. Improvements were achieved with regard to spectator flow, catering and business areas and the stadium's media zones.

The stadium in Dnipropetrovsk has been modeled on the Mönchengladbach stadium in Germany, which was also built on a PreFair basis. The project in Mönchengladbach was developed exactly in line with the client's budget and was designed to meet his specific needs.
